Persuasive and Argumentative Writing - Stakeholder analysis

This resource helps learners to identify the main stakeholders within an argument. Identifying the stakeholder(s) helps the writer to develop a persuasive strategy and sets the foundation of how their essay should be approached. Persuasive and argumentative writing often depends on logical reasoning and the identification of key stakeholders.

Learners will look at Power and Interest by reading through 10 argumentative statements and identifying the stakeholder that has both high power and high interest.

This resource can be used to introduce the topic of stakeholders within an argument, a review task during learning, or a homework assignment.
